Motion Design

Designing a unified motion language for learning, brand, and product.

This project showcases a range of motion explorations—translating complex product ideas into engaging visuals across internal learning, digital campaigns, and app interfaces. The work reflects my transition from visual storytelling to product-centered motion design, illustrating how motion can simplify learning, humanize technology, and strengthen brand connection.

Year: 2023-2025

Role: Motion Designer, Illustrator

Tools: After Effects, Lottie, Figma

Team: Digital Design, Sales EDU

App Splash Motion

To introduce a refreshed app experience, I explored multiple splash screen animations that balance speed, clarity, and brand character. Each iteration tested different motion rhythms and visual weights to express the Fiber identity without overwhelming the interface.

Process highlights:

  • Proposed 5 initial directions (character-driven, wave-based, fiber-line, orbit, minimalist pulse).

  • Refined top 2–3 based on feedback from UX and Marketing teams.

  • Delivered the final motion as Lottie-compatible vector animation for mobile launch.

Outcome:

A concise, friendly motion that humanizes the brand and aligns with Fiber’s simple, connected visual tone.

App Splash Exploration

Learning & Development Explainers

Before joining the digital design team, I designed and animated educational videos for the Sales Academy and internal learning platforms. The goal was to simplify complex product concepts and processes through narrative-driven motion, blending illustration and UI metaphors.

Examples:

  • “Sales Manager Toolkit” explainer series

  • “Lifestyle Internet Products” product-learning modules

Outcome:
Reduced onboarding time for new employees and improved content engagement metrics across Fiber’s learning portal.

Product Ads & Campaign Motion

Collaborated with the marketing team to create short-form ad animations for web and social channels.
Each piece was crafted to emphasize Fiber’s reliability and speed through bold typography, kinetic transitions, and cohesive brand motion guidelines.

Key contributions:

  • Developed modular animation templates adaptable for different products.

  • Unified visual pacing between static and motion brand assets.

  • Directed final animations for YouTube and Fiber.com landing visuals.

Outcome:
Improved cross-platform brand consistency and motion cohesion across product campaigns.
